This is a very nice piece Sim, very inspiring, I do have to say that you are gifted in music and have a keen sense of hearing, and this is the type of music that I would call “music for your third ears,” for it doesn’t just stop at our eardrums, but it continues to travel to other parts of our body. Sounds can create certain types of feeling, whether it’s a chill that runs down our spine, goose bumps that appears on our arms and legs, or happiness that paints a smile on our face. This type of music is very powerful.
It seems so difficult to do, but your songs flow together nicely…its definitely music for the soul. I hope to be able to do this with my Thai music, but I’m afraid that it might not flow as nice as yours, would be somewhat embarrassing I think.
Thanks. It’s nice to know that people could recognize music no matter what language they speak. This could mean that we all share a common connection in our soul. People around the world are not so different after all, if you look at it in that way.
The audio editor lets you see the peak levels so you can match the tempos. Some software matches the tempo for you automatically. But you can always do the fade. Cut and fade what you want. Then put together what you want, just like CD samples in CD stores.
There’s no such thing as embarrassing because all of us are unique. To not do nothing at all is kinda embarrassing. Take Costco for example, they have a line up of digital camera on display, but none of them have any batteries on them or even sample pictures. We are so curious about the camera but we cannot do anything about it. And they can waste their revenues on unwanted returns.
The ability to hear and match music was a gift handed down to us at an unconscious levels we can’t control. I truely understand the extreme difficulty people have to go thru, if they’re not good at what they do.
Guess who just brightened up my day?
Thanks a lot!
